Fitness Friday & ready for the weekaaand!

This week has been loaded with fitness yo! I mean, for-real, for-real…I’ve been pretty upbeat and gung-ho in regards to sticking to training AND doing more – which is crazy because sometimes I think I’d rather sleep in until noon but my body – and hubs – won’t let me!
Thursday am I slapped on my good ol’ Brooks and headed out for speedwork at my gym’s track

I kicked my own butt! Nothing like 3:40 averages for your 800s to get you in good spirits 😉

Then my crazy behind woke up this morning, knowing I didn’t have to be at work until late, and said “Self, wanna run? Eh, why not!” and went out for a quick 3 mile run to kick off the day
hey, might as well!
Friday’s workout: 3 mi run at sub race pace  – don’t worry I felt it when I got back, the sun was blazin’ and I was pooped!
Maybe it’s because I’m pretty stoked to be headed to Orlando tomorrow with my Tampa Bay Lady Blogger crew for the Central Florida Blogger Con! (sidenote: this also means I’ll end up doing my long run on Sunday – whoa, you’re going off of your routine, Kat?!) It should be a fun day of learning and networking and meeting tons of peeps I tweet with but actually get to see ’em in real life. Yay for social media meet-ups!
Along with keeping the spirit with Fitness Friday by kicking our own butts, I thought I’d link up a previous post I did on living and running with asthma since lately I’ve been breathing hella good with no humidity and Fall on the horizon; I can’t forget to always take caution with my lungs!

    Blogger Con sounds amazing. I have never been to a blogger convention and actually not yet met another blogger in real life. I think it will be so much fun!
