I can’t wait to recap my Disneyland trip with hubby throughout this coming week! What a crazy amount of miles I walked/ran this past week! Yesterday was my first 20 miler! I took it slow and steady – afraid to hurt the foot more or push too much – but finished and feel good! As good as one can feel! If marathon training’s taught me anything – it’s that training miles are training miles – run what each run was meant to be run at – long runs are easy!

The neuroma in my right foot is much better. My speed is picking back up. I’ve continued heat/ice therapy along with ibuprofen to keep swelling down. I try to remember to put my feet up every once and again, but when do I every really sit still??

The life of a busy bee can be a challenging one – particularly when it comes to finding healthy snacks for on-the-go! You guys know I love to try out new on-the-go snacks all of the time so I can keep a little variety in my day – no one likes to get bored! Another new snack I’ve enjoyed for some time lately has been bars from KIND Snacks! Recently, they’ve introduced a new line of Nuts & Spices flavors that only add to the huge variety of ones they already offer!

KIND Healthy Snacks are made from all-natural whole nuts, fruits and whole grains. No secret ingredients and absolutely nothing artificial here. Just a delicious way of getting your body essential nutrients like fiber, protein and antioxidants (to name a few).

My everyday favorite is Cherry Almond – or is it Almond Coconut – they’re all so yummy!

Disclamer: KIND Snacks sent me samples of their Nuts & Spices bars to try and review. All opinions in this post are my own.

The Nuts & Spices line includes the flavors: Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan, Madagascar Vanilla Almond, Chocolate, Nuts & Sea Salt, and Cashew & Ginger Spice!

Madagascar Vanilla Almond was my favorite!

AND KIND Also has granola available now too!

For the KIND-aholic, there’s even the option of having 72 bars sent to you, quarterly, at 30% off of the retail price – so you’ll never run out! ((Pondering doing this as hubs and I NEVER get tired of them)

I’m also able to giveaway a sample pack of the Nuts & Spices line to one lucky reader!

Have you tried these bars before?

If you win the giveaway, what flavors are you excited to try?

How was your week in workouts?

I have never tried KIND bars. The Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan sounds awesome! I’m a sucker for ginger, too though… I ended this week with a solid 18 miles. I was worried I wouldn’t make it, as I gave blood Wed and felt horrible on my Friday run. I made it through though, so I’m happy. Congrats on your 20 miler 🙂
