Weekly Workouts Roundup – Week of 11/17

Today I was out being a spectator, how glorious!!
This is my usual Sunday post – Link up with Meghan & I as we recap our workouts for the week in a Weekly Workouts Roundup! It can be any day and not necessarily Sunday also!

Week of 11/17/2013
11/17- Rock n’ Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon
11/18- Walking around Vegas
11/19 – Traveling back home
11/20 – Insanity 45 minutes
11/21 – Insanity 30 minutes
11/22 – Rest Day
11/23 – Surf Fit + working out with client

Vegas was a blast and I will be sure to give a full race recap soon! We decided to take it easy post-race and walk around the strip more before heading home earlier this week. Once home, we adjusted (slowly) to the time change and I got back into Insanity practice. Today I’ll be teaching some friends in a guinea pig class before I teach it at my gym – fun shenanigans!

Yesterday morning, we were able to make it to a place called Surf Fit [in Tampa] through my PeerFit Passport – and it was way harder than we expected, which is always a welcome challenge! It was an awesome class and you got used to the board by keeping a tight core and getting over the fear of falling off. We did many stretches and planks on the board as well as hurdles over them for cardio – their Burn class worked us over!

We then went to a park to scout out a spot for an Insanity class I’m doing today and may have gotten sidetracked by the swings 😉

I got to enjoy a lot of much needed catch up time with friends both at a holiday get-together and also at the Women’s half spectating today! – More on that tomorrow, but you may have seen me on Instagram or Facebook  lol.
Parties with Gluten free treats ROCK! Thanks Beth 🙂
I’m working on using my time wisely to get my workout time in. I’ve excited to start teaching Insanity once a week and buddying up with clients with certain exercises. I have decided to take a month off of running since the Las Vegas Half Marathon – I know that my shin needs it and if there’s tears in there, they’re not going anywhere unless I stop running completely. But I WILL be back to it after much-needed rest 😉

Your wiener costume is ridiculous and you pulled it off so well! It looked like you had a blast being a cheerleader for the race today. My week of workouts was busy and next week will be a little easier with reduced mileage and Thanksgiving. Can’t wait for lots of tasty food!

Why do we NOT live closer, because I seriously think we would have FAR TOO MUCH FUN together. I know I would be in jail right now. LMFAO! Okay, maybe it’s best that we don’t live near by!
