More Gluten Free dining options out at Grillsmith!

I was able to try the new GF menu at Grillsmith this past week  – I’m never one to argue about trying our new Gluten Free options at restaurants that I already enjoy dining out at!

Most of you know I’m not 100% Gluten Free nor allergic, but try to find balance in not absorbing too much gluten while while also looking at the fat and calorie count in GF options when I eat out.

We started with Chicken Lettuce Wraps with a Greek Tzaziki sauce and toppings.
A friend dined with me and tried their Mediterranean Salmon with GF Potatoes Au Gratin with Spinach – yum!

I tried their Chimichurri Steak with spinach and green beans – you know we were sure to share everything though!
We indulged in dessert to try their Flourless chocolate cake. It was delicious but the sugar was not what I’ve been used to eating so we just sampled it a bit.

Overall, the menu is an excellent option and delicious to boot! Grillsmith provides a great Happy Hour and Lunch menu, so their GF addition will only appeal to more people to who dine there.

Their service is and always has been excellent! Our server was very friendly and personable and the manager made sure we were well taken care of – HIGH FIVE for Grillsmith!

That’s awesome that they now have a Gluten free menu. The restaurant where I used to work has options for Gluten free, but they haven’t went to print with a full menu. It’s nice to see more and more places taking the necessary steps to accommodate GF diners. Not to mention, those items look great! I love lettuce wraps.

I’m glad you are finding what you need available in restaurants now. I have a friend with a child whose diet is GF and I know they struggle a lot.

I think GF gets a bad rap – whether there are options or not, it isn’t too hard to create a meal, and not give your server too many issues. lol
