Why I’m a Fitness Coach

As I’ve transitioned into the Fitness world, I’ve been asked by many people “Why are you a Fitness coach? You train and teach, why not just do that?” Or “Haven’t you always worked out?”

So, I figured I’d write about my experience, reasons, and answer that very question!

I realized my ability to help others through MY OWN journey with fitness! After hitting a wall, I realized I needed a challenge to BREAK THAT PLATEAU. Enter: Insanity. Fitness that included TOUGH movements that challenged my endurance and overall athletic ability helped me to not only run better and faster but also keep focused! I needed to think OUTSIDE of the gym to make sure NOTHING kept me from getting my workout in if I wasn’t able to make it there. It became my lifestyle to work towards a fit life that includes High Intensity Interval Training that was effective, efficient, and FUN! I then felt the need to share that with others – relate to them as I’d been there before – living a life in a healthy way and eating right can only BRIGHTEN the days we have here to be LIVED!

It makes MY HEART HAPPY to see OTHERS happy at seeing how much progress they can make – to realize their TRUE capabilities! I’m never sure where my Fitness Focus and Coaching will take me, but I want to impact as many people as possible!

Let me explain in a video this question of WHY:

So, Why this post?

To be transparent – we all know that I’m nothing but 😉 I’ve seen and heard many questions come up about Beachbody in general. Some people have had a good experience with the company and workouts and others haven’t or have heard negative things. I’ve had nothing but a POSITIVE experience and want to share that with others – teaching people that true fitness and nutrition gets positive gains, there is NO shortcut. My hope is to build a team of those who want to PAY IT FORWARD to create a FIT TRIBE in this world to keep the POSITIVE trend going! People who want to not only HELP others, but also HELP themselves by feeling rewarded through that cycle of PAYING IT FORWARD – to understand the true meaning of WORK HARD PLAY HARD.

Feel free MESSAGE me if you know me on Facebook or Twitter – email me at katrinaellep (at) gmail (dot) com – NO question is stupid and your time to start down any positive path is NOW!

Do you have a reason behind why you do what you do?
Do you live your passion?

How do you pay it forward with fitness?

Love this! It feels so good once you find that passion that you’re meant to live out. For me, that’s helping women overcome disordered eating, after I journeyed through a very long battle with it myself.

You do such a great job of inspiring others. Any fitness program that works for an individual is a good one IMHO. My way to give back is to volunteer at local races and to help out with children’s programs that involve running and fitness, things that I love. Staying fit is really important as we age, and as an old lady runner, it is fun to be able to do things many of similar age can’t. I know, a little too competitive for my own good! 🙂

Yes to paying it forward! It’s all about finding our talents and passions and using both to help others–whether that means inspiring one or 100 people. 🙂
