For this week’s Training Tip of the Week we’ll dig into the Insanity Fit Test! Oh yes, be excited!
The Insanity Fit Test is a way to benchmark progress with the Insanity program.
It is comprised of 8 exercises all done in order, one minute each with one minute of recovery in between them.
You do AS MANY AS YOU CAN squeeze into that minute! Each time the test is completed, it can be compared to the previous results to see how much more endurance and strength has been gained as a result of the program! My students are always thrilled when I say “It’s Fit Test Day!” Each time we’ve done it, though, they truly see how their hard work pays off and see that they’re able to do more each time!
* Remember with any of these tips, you do the workout at your own risk. Like I tell my class, it’s FORM over SPEED and if you need modify there’s nothing wrong with taking out the impact but keeping the intensity!
