I knew when Verizon was going to send me a Parrot Mini Drone to review, that hubby would be in heaven – big kid meets new toy heaven!
Disclosure: I was provided a complimentary Parrot Mini Drone – Jumping Sumo to review and provide information on this blog. All opinions are my own
Hubby took the time to set the little guy up – ANY SUGGESTIONS TO NAME HIM? – and when I came home from teaching one night, he was already terrorizing (okay, not really) Jaeden with the drone. IT WAS A ROBOT TAKEOVER!
Jaeden is not too thrilled with his new friend, but hey he’s 13 😉
Neither of us have ever had a robot in the house! We’ve had friends who have robot vacuums but never a drone to tinker around with! We did discover that you can download the app to control the Parrot Mini Drone and can also program moves and animations!
You have the option to also purchase [separately] a micro USB to hold video data. I haven’t tried it yet, but hubby and I were thinking it’d be fun to use while I was teaching for fun videos or even while we’re traveling! With the jumping feature, we’ve even been able to get the drone onto the couch or table in one quick swift move!
Have you ever had a drone handy in your home?
What would you use a video-enabled drone for in your world?
