Weekly Workouts Roundup – Leading to Half #2

What am I doing today? I’m running my second half marathon! 😉
A recap will come tomorrow as I enjoy my birthday reliving the festivities and this lovely costume!
This week, I took it a bit easy as I prepped for the Holiday Halfathon and also travelled for work at the same time. I had a goal to try to stick to my plan-plan when in Chicago, but had to make some adjustments along the way … no biggie.

Saturday was fun as I got to do my shakeout run with B.o.B. and Jesica (rUnladylike.) I’d never met Jesica in real life before so it was so much fun! We did NYCRunningMama’s Run for Recovery 5k with legit bibs and all and chatted it up so it seemed like only a 2 second run! Thanks for the meet up ladies! Jesica, hope to see you again soon!

    Have a great race today, Kat! You’ll do great! In terms of workouts, I had a really good week; I completed everything planned except a strength training session yesterday. My legs felt like lead, and I knew it would be too much to lift for an hour and then bike for 90 minutes. Looking forward to getting after it again this week! 🙂

    I love the outfit! Hoping you had a great half! I had a really low key week, been suffering from a lot of headaches, I am hoping to kick it back up starting tomorrow!

    This past week was busy but AWESOME! This coming week, lets hope it’s the same… And from the looks of my calendar, it’s definitely going to be BUSY! 🙂 Happy 2 weeks until XMAS!
