Sugar Rehab: Fruit on the Go-go!

I think I’ve successfully completed my stint in Sugar Rehab!

I’ll still post weekly about how things are going with clean eating and balance of complex carbs, but I’m 99.97% sure I no longer have those crazy candy and sweets cravings like I did when I started! Thank you sweet baby Jesus!

In keeping with the Sugar Rehab theme I’ve had for the past 7 weeks or so, I decided to chat about another product that’s helping: Go Go Squeez!

Made of real fruit, it’s kind of like an apple sauce that you can carry with you to squeeze in a serving of fruit!

* All Natural
* No-spoon / No-mess
* Gluten & Nut fee
* No added colors or flavors
* No High fructose corn syrup
*Vegan friendly
* Wheat free
*BPA free packaging (+resealable!)

yes, I always have one in my purse, no laughing

These also come in a ton of flavors including: Apple-Apple, Apple-Cherry, Apple-Banana, Apple-Strawberry, Apple-Peach, Apple-Mango, Apple-Cinnamon, & Apple-Berry!

Don’t pick on me! These aren’t just for the kiddies I tell ya!

These are great for both adult & kiddie sweet-convenience! I’ve even brought them with me post-run for a quick carb for glucogen reflenishment.

With my sweet tooth subsiding, I’m looking towards more fruits and veggies to keep me full and avoid any white starches (besides rice) and refined sugars (aside from the occassional brewsky.) Go Go Squeez is easy to use, convenient for travel and purse-carrying, and a healthy serving of fruit!

And how about we make this a 2 Giveaway week?!

One of my lucky readers will also have the chance to win a case of 12 Go Go Squeez pouches, in the flavor Apple-Apple!

    I like hummus and pita chips. Although I think that might be white sugar…I also like unsweetened applesauce.

    Wuhoo way to go on kicking the habit! Love these! I get a few funny looks at work when I pull one out of my lunch bag, but they are so worth it vs. eating a candy bar or other refined sugar candies!

    99.97% is very precise! 😉 I always carry snacks like almonds and bananas in my purse. I get very tired and cranky when hungry strikes, so it’s better for everyone if I have “just-in-case” snacks. 🙂

    I’ve tried Buddy Fruits that are just like that Go-Go stuff. I’m not a big fan but I’m not a fan of apple sauce so it’s not that it’s bad. Just not my thing. I did try to use it for racing but I just couldn’t get it down while running. Might be a good fueling option for other peeps tho!

      Thanks Brad! I think I’ll be ok! I never really care for it unless there’s a craving (rare, once a month or every 2 months) and then I’ll let myself indulge…it’s just not a daily thing anymore!

    I just commented on Denise’s blog about how much I love GoGo Squeez. My friends laughed at me the first time I bought one in front of them and proceeded to suck it down in minutes but they are really convenient and curb hunger. I use them to make it through a long car ride when I am hungry and feeling weak towards my resistance of fast food.

    If I need chocolate, sometimes I’ll have a glass of chocolate milk as a snack. I also grab almonds or hummus if it’s a salty craving.

    I think I’ve also made huge strides in my sugar-cravings! Since cutting way back on sugar, I don’t find myself needing something sweet after a meal or craving chocolate. But when I do,now fresh fruit tastes much sweeter than it used to and definitely does the trick!

    One of the hardest things to do is kicking your sugar craving. I seem to turn to candy and other sweets when I have a sweet tooth but I am ready to kick that habit and start my journey to clean eating! What is your favorite flavor?
