Motivational Monday – Featured Sneakers #43 & 1 day as a MARATHONER!

Today marks day 1 of being a MARATHONER!

I am definitely trying to put thoughts, emotions, and everything together to complete my official race recap, but will tell you that yesterday was the toughest thing I’ve ever done. Ever. I’m so proud to be a Marine Corps Marathoner and can’t believe that I finished in a reasonable time! For now, I rest up and put together that recap πŸ˜‰

Until I get that together, I’ll kick off Motivational Monday with this week’s Featured Sneakers! They belong to Margo! I had the pleasure of meeting Margo at Fitbloggin 2013 in Portland as she spoke about working with brands! She’s a city girl & cat lover who dabbles in PR & all things fitness!

What is your favorite way to workout/exercise: It has to be cycling for sure. I would rather spend a miserable day on my bike than a perfect day running. I just love the feel of the road.


What is your #1 cheat food: Pizza for sure. I love me a slice of pie on occasion.

What advice do you have for those starting on a fitness journey: The best thing you can do at the start of your journey is try out multiple classes and workouts until you find the activities that click with you. It took me over a year at my gym before I found the workouts that keep me motivated. You will find your passion as long as you keep looking for it!

Dream destination race/location:  I would love to ride my bike across Ireland one day. I even have an Irish passport!

Favorite inspirational fitness personality/trainer:  I follow Jeannete Jenkins on Instagram and she keeps me motivated.

Workout apparel must have (+brand):  I love my Lululemon capris tights and Adidas makes the best sports bra on the market.

    Congratulations! You are a MARATHONER. I think you should get a big badge that says “I ran a FREAKIN’ MARATHON” and wear it for at least a month. Can’t wait to read the recap.
