Insanity had shown itself to be my solemate -workout. Ever since I did the first workout series, I changed not only with my workouts but overall as a person!
Why would I want to do a workout where the people in the infomercials are laid out, sweating and panting after each round? Well, because I reached a point where I tried it ALL. I was running, eating right (probably not enough but Insanity made me ‘hungrier’), lifting weights like I thought I should be. I hit a plateau on my way to lose a total of 40 pounds and needed a BOOST to break through a big wall!
Our bodies are a LOT smarter than we give them credit for. The adapt. They mold to our routine. They get stronger and accustomed to the challenges we throw at them from changes to our diet to workouts we’ve grown used to.
We have to be smarter than our bodies!
In a nutshell, Insanity involved MAX interval training. Instead of steady-state exercise with bouts of High Intensity intervals, we flip the script! We work as HARD as we can for the majority of the workout with short bouts of recovery for MAXIMUM FAT and CALORIE burn!
There was Insanity, Insanity Asylum, and now there will be….INSANITY MAX:30!
Some of the downsides to the original Insanity workout were that it didn’t have a modifier, so many people tell me they hurt themselves because they couldn’t safely do the movements in a progression. Also, the workouts were up to an hour at length – nowadays that isn’t what we’re looking for.
With Insanity Max:30, the same crazy rules will apply with insane NEW (150+) moves to challenge your body, but WITH a modifier the entire workout and workouts that are 30 minutes! No one said it was easier, but it will be more efficient and challenge the heck out of you that’s for sure! And OF COURSE I’ll be doing the workout start to finish – and perfect timing!
Since my birthday is December 10, I felt is PERFECT timing that this new workout releases DECEMBER 2! That’s TOMORROW!
I can’t even bottle the excitement I am feeling waiting for this BAD BOY to release!
Want to do it with me??? Have any questions about the specifics of the workout regimen?
