Weekly Workouts Roundup: #InstructorLife

Week of March 21, 2015:

Saturday 3/21– 2 mile walk + playground workout

Sunday 3/22 – Insanity Round 12 practice + hour class

Monday 3/23– Insanity Round 12 30 Class + 2 mile run + PiYo Class

Tuesday 3/24 –2 mile run + 2 PiYo Classes

Wednesday 3/25 – 5k Run+ Insanity Class + PiYo Class + PiYo Class + Fit Camp Class/Insanity Class

Thursday 3/26 –  Walk + Insanity Class + PiYo Class

Friday 3/27 (planned) – Rest Day / Stretching

 

Ah, #InstructorLife…. I’ve had to pull back the reigns on myself here and there to avoid burnout for sure!

 

What are you talking about, Kat? You’re always such a busy body!

 

Yea, and that’s been something that tends to bite me in the rump and don’t I always learn the hard way? 😉

 

I wanted to do Insanity Max:30 all the way through … again… but I had to rethink that decision. With me wanting to give my classes 100% and all I did some adjustments to my schedule.

 

I’ll be doing church group on Mondays and will take some time off teaching Tuesdays. Wednesdays and Thursdays are my busy days with teaching so I won’t do my ‘own’ workouts before class unless I feel an itch to walk or run. Fridays through Sundays are my time to workout and enjoy the weekend!

 

It’s taken some time to acclimate to my ‘new schedule’ without feeling I had to occupy ALL of my time, and at the same time focus on my personal business to ensure I could succeed ongoing.

 

I’ve learned one thing that’s for sure – I DO LOVE TEACHING MY CLASSES! I’m sure they love when I crack a joke or smile when they want to clock me in the jaw, it’s all about balance right?

This week I introduced the newest INSANITY LIVE Round to class that had a mix of Asylum and Max:30 moves with awesome new music – students were bee-boppin’ while they sweat their faces off! Mission accomplished!

 

Whether you’re an instructor, teacher, parent…. you have one goal in life and that’s to live YOUR LIFE to the fullest!
