Celebrating Small Accomplishments for BIG Success

When we set GOALS we tend to make them BIG ONES…ones that can take weeks to months to years to accomplish..

… and let me just be a big or little sis with you for a second and tell you: YOU ROCK! You deserve a heck of a lot more credit than you’re probably giving yourself!

What can happen if we don’t stop to celebrate the small achievements that lead us to BIG GOALS??

We can become discouraged….leaving high expectations to hinder our success! – I say: NO MORE!

CELEBRATE SMALL ACCOMPLISHMENTS TO SEE EVEN BIGGER SUCCESS!

Peel back the layers of a BIG GOAL you’ve set and think about the steps you need to take to get there. Those milestones are HUGE and pausing to take time to acknowledge them will propel us forward!

✓ Do daily celebrations of your actions! What 3-5 things a day did you do that lead you to stay focused?

✓ SHARE your goals out loud and post about your progress on social media even! We all see how this blog has helped my life tenfold!

✓ Surround yourself with others – especially those who are in the same boat as you – they celebrate for you and keep you positive!

✓ Set reminders on your phone or calendar that chime in and give you positive motivation! My daily alarm in the morning says “GET OUT THERE AND LOVE ON THE WORLD, KAT, YOU ROCK!” Well, thanks, Self!

✓ Give yourself incentives for the small steps! For example, when I know I’ve hit my goals each week with my class and my business I unplug and ‘celebrate’ with a movie I’ve been wanting to see or budget in a new tattoo or pair of shoes 😉

✓ Create a fun Wallpaper on your computer and phone to remind you of your focus and put small notes and steps around it. For me, I have some business and personal goals on our vision boards and around it I put small steps we have to take to get there.

If your goals relate to weight loss or fitness .. stop saying “I didn’t lose weight or I am still this weight” focus on the inches…focus on the healthier meals you’ve eaten…focus on the 20 minutes you DID exercise instead of the 10 you didn’t! Yes, I’m the glass-half-full girl who didn’t always used to be. So, this comes from a loving place when I tell you, “STOP BEING SO HARD ON YOURSELF!”

We head to NASHVILLE for the BEACHBODY COACH SUMMIT and that’ll, for sure, be a place of celebration with so many positive people – I can’t wait!

What BIG GOALS have you been working to break down?

How do you celebrate your achievements?

I couldn’t have said this better! If we don’t set smaller goals/stepping stones on the road to reaching our big goals, then we’re more likely to give up and not accomplish what we’re after.

Such great reminders! I have positive affirmations that show on my display when my alarm goes off too. Giving yourself mini rewards at the end of the week is a great motivator to recognize consistency and incremental gains.
