Embracing the NEW routine

It’s officially been a month since we’ve been in VIVA LAS VEGAS!

I have to admit we’re LOVING our new surroundings, finding new fun things to do, and exploring a brand new city and state together!

I can remember that I officially stopped teaching in August to prepare for the move – I was glad I did – and am just now getting back into a routine with classes here in Vegas!

I have to admit that I was unsure about the fitness community in Vegas because it was all new to me – I didn’t have a lay of the land or know many people until I got here and settled in. Thankfully, I’ve had a great support system of friends and other Master Trainers and instructors who have blended me into their fitness communities seamlessly!

LAS VEGANS can check out my class schedule HERE!

Hubby and I also decided to start a crazy new goal together to do INSANITY MAX:30. I have done the program once through when it first released but got away from it only due to my crazy schedule with teaching and have to adjust on those days. He did month one but had an injury (PF) that put him back a bit.

Saturday or Sunday PiYo helps with flexibility and strength between Insanity workouts!

SO, WE’RE IN IT TOGETHER! It’s been great to knock my workouts out in the morning before the day gets started and he enjoys them in the PM – we’re opposites when it comes to me being a morning person and him not lol. Nevertheless, it’s GETTING DONE and we text each other and make sure to hold each other accountable each day with each workout which has been a huge blessing and encouragement for me! I’m super used to doing things solo OR being the one who is the instructor, so to have hubby along with my online Fit Squad keep me focused and moving forward is encouraging!

Even via text, across the country from one another, we ARE IN IT TOGETHER!

I LOVE how INSANITY Makes me feel and what it does for my body. I always challenge myself and feel it never gets easier, I get better! We’re excited to share our results – hubby wants to tone up and lean out some and so do I – weight loss isn’t the goal.

I’m definitely one lucky girl and with all we’ve experienced and gone through … losing Jaeden …. fitness always brings us back together and helps us through the tough times!
